ConsultNet is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract-to-direct-hire, long-term role in Salt Lake City, Utah, with an ASAP start date and $45-$55 per hour. The position provides electrical engineering and design support for mining and oil and gas facilities, including power distribution, transmission, instrumentation, equipment controls, and heavy-industrial projects. Responsibilities span conceptualization through design, fabrication support, installation, and commissioning, with work reviewed for quality and completion. The role requires a BS in Engineering, approximately 5-10 years of experience, heavy-industrial and brownfield/greenfield experience, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, PLC/DCS systems, P&IDs, electrical plans, and industrial codes.
