Description
Egis is hiring a Secondary Engineer for its Transmissions team to design panel layouts, schematics, protection settings, cable and wiring schedules, and related documentation for high- and extra-high voltage terminal stations and substations. The role manages detail design from concept through final implementation, reviews work, and handles scope variations while meeting budget and project-programme constraints. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant industry experience, an Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent, Australian work rights, experience with secondary design above 66 kV, IEC 61850 experience, and strong stakeholder communication skills. The Brisbane-based role offers flexible working arrangements, including remote options, and may be undertaken on a full-time, part-time, or job-share basis.
