Description
The Electrical Engineer II performs electrical power, lighting, and low-voltage system engineering for construction projects under the supervision of an upper-level engineer or engineering team leader. Responsibilities include providing guidance to Level 1 engineers, preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications, planning layouts, conducting field surveys, correcting power-system problems, inspecting installations, and preparing engineering reports. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering with two years of progressive experience, or an associate degree in electrical technology with six years of experience, along with PC and Microsoft Office proficiency, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge, and National Electric Code knowledge. The position works Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with 5–10% travel, and offers merit-based compensation and benefits.
