Description
HDR is hiring an Electrical Engineer to coordinate electrical design for large institutional and industrial projects through schematic design and contract document phases. The role includes agency compliance reviews, project-site coordination, document conflict checks, electrical specifications and equipment selection, contract administration, QA/QC, and mentoring less-experienced staff. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis, prior building electrical design experience, a recognized professional engineering license, and strong AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power skills. Preferred qualifications include three years of building electrical design experience, architectural or engineering consulting experience, sustainable design or LEED interest, and experience with SKM, ETAP, Revit, and BlueBeam.
