Description

Moderna is hiring a site-based Electrical Engineer for its new GMP manufacturing facility in Clayton, Melbourne, to lead electrical work across GMP and non-GMP systems, support troubleshooting, maintenance, compliance, and commissioning activities, and help ensure safe, reliable, and audit-ready operations in a 24/7 biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires an A Grade Electrical License, preferably a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or equivalent experience, and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in regulated manufacturing, with strong knowledge of GMP, electrical safety, CMMS, PLC/HMI/SCADA troubleshooting, and documentation practices.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
Experience in sterile manufacturing is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications: Sterile manufacturing experience
Knowledge of GMP, quality management systems, and regulatory standards
Familiarity with TGA, FDA, and EMA requirements
Equipment and systems validation experience
