Description
NEC is hiring an Electrical Engineer to provide analysis and design support for Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s electrical infrastructure projects, including high-performance computing facility modifications, tenant improvements, laboratory and office modifications, and other customer needs. The role oversees electrical design, coordinates with telecommunications, power utility, and facility automation experts, reviews changes and upgrades, supports construction and maintenance subcontractors, inspects installations, and ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, DOE orders, laboratory safety and quality standards, and leadership objectives. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least five years of relevant experience are required.
