New Fortress Energy is hiring an FLNG Electrical Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability, safety, and capital-project electrical systems of an FLNG facility in Altamira, Mexico. The role includes second-level electrical troubleshooting, control-system support, equipment checkout and start-up, reliability improvement, management-of-changes review, electrical classification analysis, and contractor oversight. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least 10 years of related experience in petroleum or chemical manufacturing, and experience with low, medium, and high-voltage systems, electrical controls, IEC 61850, arc-flash and electrical-safety standards, and electrical-distribution systems.
