Description
Shield AI is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer to own flight-critical avionics and circuit/subsystem designs for the V-BAT aircraft and its support equipment. The role leads full-cycle hardware development, including concept, modeling, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, testing, validation, PCB layout, and manufacturing deployment, while hardening designs for harsh environments and collaborating with mechanical, embedded, software, supply chain, test automation, production, and aircraft teams. The engineer will also mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, manage project timelines, and help define technical product requirements. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience and at least 10 years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer are required.
