Sonoco is hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to support approximately 70 plants across its Division. The role involves capital project design and implementation, industrial electrical distribution, motor controls, plant lighting, coordinated drive controls, electrical troubleshooting, and project management. It is open to remote candidates in the surrounding areas of North and South Carolina, with periodic travel to the Corporate Headquarters in Hartsville, South Carolina. The position requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, professional engineering certification, and 7–10 years of electrical power distribution experience, with an annual base salary of $160,720 to $180,810 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
