Description
The Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems for Textron Specialized Vehicles, including motors, electronic control units, switches, relays, wire harnesses, displays, and lighting. The role also covers engineering drawings, vehicle electrical architecture, supplier design reviews, functional specifications, tolerance studies, validation testing, DFMEA, design reviews, and design-for-manufacturing assessments. Responsibilities include managing project schedules and budgets and collaborating with suppliers to improve technology and costs. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least two years of experience are required; Microsoft Office proficiency is required, while CANbus, Siemens Capital, 3D CAD, and SAP experience are preferred.
