Description
Vertiv is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to develop HDLC electrical units, including in-row and in-rack CDUs and two-phase products. The role involves designing low-voltage electrical enclosures, harnesses, schematics, and 3D wiring models; applying NEC, CSA/UL, and IEEE standards; collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams; and supporting design reviews, testing, manufacturing, and product release. The position is onsite at Vertiv’s Ironton, Ohio location and requires a BSEE or related degree, at least 8 years of hardware development experience, extensive PLM or product documentation experience, and proficiency with Creo Schematics or equivalent schematic capture software.
