Description
Vertiv is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on power converters for grid interfaces, battery energy storage systems, and emerging alternative energy storage technologies. The role involves researching and evaluating technologies, developing small-scale prototypes through modeling, simulation, and hardware testing, collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and academic institutions, aligning initiatives with customer needs, and presenting technical results. Candidates should understand three-phase power systems, power electronic converters, energy storage systems, grid-connected inverters, and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or PSSE, and be able to troubleshoot hardware and software.
