ALTEN UK is hiring an Electrical Engineer (Cable Routing) to support key infrastructure on a major nuclear project in Bristol. The role involves designing and implementing cable routing structures for power, instrumentation and control, and other electrical systems; interpreting layouts and electrical diagrams; supporting cable trays, ducts, and penetrations; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; checking separation, bundling, and interconnectivity; and contributing to documentation and handover preparation. Candidates need 2–12 years of electrical engineering or related experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience, and familiarity with cable types and routing tools.
