Description
SpaceX is hiring an Electrical Engineer, Facilities (Starlink) to support the design, operation, improvement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems at its Starlink Production facility in Bastrop, Texas. The role covers substations, switchgear, power distribution, lighting, UPS, motor control centers, variable-frequency drives, generators, load flow analysis, grounding, arc-flash studies, and electrical upgrades, while coordinating with maintenance, construction, and production teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline and at least three years of industrial electrical engineering experience with medium- or high-voltage power systems; onsite work, travel, extended hours, and physical work are required.
