AEI is hiring an Electrical Engineer I in its Detroit office to support energy-efficient building solutions. The role begins with mentorship and includes load calculations, system sizing and layouts, equipment selection, field surveys, and shop-drawing reviews, with progression toward leading electrical project teams, writing specifications, client and consultant meetings, and construction-phase support. Candidates need an ABET-accredited BSEE or BSAE, a minimum 2.5 GPA, and a non-academic internship; EIT certification and MEP consulting internship experience are preferred.
