Inspired Flight is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer to design low- and high-power electrical sub-assemblies, create PCBA schematics and layouts, develop and debug firmware, tune PID flight-control systems, troubleshoot failures, and validate designs through bench and flight testing. The role is based in San Luis Obispo, California, and requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 0–2 years of experience for level 1 and 2–5 years for level 2, along with familiarity with circuit design, PCB tools, drone flight-control systems, and development equipment. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 depending on level, with health, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and a quarterly bonus plan.
