Description
The role combines electrical power systems engineering with project management for new pipeline facility construction and maintenance or upgrade projects. Responsibilities include designing and supervising electrical power system engineering work, managing project scope, budgets, schedules, procurement, installation, inspection, start-up, as-built data, training, and post-project reviews, and providing technical guidance on operation, testing, maintenance, and safety procedures. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least three years of experience implementing electrical and power component designs for new construction and maintenance projects within the pipeline industry; high-voltage and medium-voltage system knowledge, electrical schematic interpretation, project management, and relevant software and testing skills are required.
