Description
The Electrical Engineer II designs, develops, and implements electrical control systems for automotive test equipment and custom automated machinery with minimal supervision. The role independently manages electrical schematics, PLC and HMI programming, bills of material, print packages, machine startup, commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing, while supporting manufacturing, field service, and customers. The position also mentors junior engineers and contributes to system upgrades and controls improvements. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline and at least five years of relevant experience are required, with domestic and international travel of 10–20% expected.
