Description
The Electrical Engineer II performs electrical power, lighting, and low-voltage system engineering for construction projects under the supervision of an upper-level engineer or engineering team leader. Responsibilities include providing guidance to Level 1 engineers, preparing calculations, technical drawings, and specifications, planning project layouts, conducting field surveys, correcting power-system problems, inspecting installations, and preparing engineering reports. The role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in electrical or architectural engineering, 4–7 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, PC and Microsoft Office proficiency, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge, and National Electric Code knowledge. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with 5–15% travel.
