Description
Interstates is hiring an Electrical Engineer II to lead detailed electrical design on small and medium projects, coordinate with engineering disciplines, vendors, construction teams, clients, utilities, and governing agencies, conduct site trips, and support estimates and conceptual design. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field, 2–4 years of relevant experience, and eligibility for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or EIT certification; drafting software proficiency is preferred. The position is based in Sioux Center, Iowa; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Omaha, Nebraska; or remotely in the United States, with travel of up to 25%.
