Description
The Electrical Engineer III performs electrical power, photovoltaic system, and low-voltage engineering for renewable construction projects under the supervision of an Engineering Team Leader. Responsibilities include electrical design, calculations, technical drawings, specifications, cable and grounding design, field surveys, installation inspections, customer coordination, reporting, and guidance of junior engineers. The role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in electrical or architectural engineering, 8–12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, PC and Microsoft Office proficiency, AutoCAD knowledge, and National Electric Code knowledge. Travel is 5–15%, and the schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible work outside those hours.
