Description
Worley is hiring an Electrical Engineer I for a full-time, site-based 12-month contract in Portland, Victoria, with Alcoa as the customer. The role covers electrical design and engineering services from concept through as-built, including calculations, drawings, equipment sizing, cable routing, earthing, protection and relay settings, control-system interfacing, commissioning, and coordination with contractors, clients, and other engineering disciplines. Candidates need a four-year bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power or Electrical Engineering, at least five years of discipline-level electrical design experience, brownfield modification experience, and strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards; Hazardous Area Accreditation is desirable.
