Description
HDR is hiring an Electrical Engineer for its Power Generation and Renewables team to execute electrical engineering and design deliverables for power generation and renewable facilities, including simple-cycle and combined-cycle gas turbines, PV solar, battery energy storage, and microgrids. The role leads design teams through schematic and contract document phases, coordinates project workloads, serves as a primary client contact, conducts field visits, prepares detailed design packages and engineering studies, supports plant equipment and control-system upgrades, and reviews deliverables. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, a professional engineering license, prior power-market project execution experience, and relevant design software knowledge are required; a master’s degree, proposal and client-management experience, and six years of related experience are preferred.
