Description
AECOM is hiring an Electrical Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical architectures, SCADA automation, and control-system interfaces for GW-scale solar assets. The role includes field-level electrical surveillance, inspection of DC, AC, MV, and control-system interfaces, coordination with EPC, OEM, QA/QC, and commissioning teams, and preparation of completion and interface reports. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or related engineering and 5–10 years of direct electrical engineering experience in utility-scale solar PV or heavy electrical infrastructure, including 2–3 years focused on solar SCADA, automation, PLC programming, or substation control systems. The position offers hybrid work options and may require work at remote project sites.
