Description
The National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) at Brookhaven National Laboratory is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Diagnostics and Instrumentation Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and testing diagnostic subsystems, particularly focusing on the Beam Position Monitor (BPM) system. This role involves close collaboration with various teams, developing new diagnostics systems, and providing engineering support for firmware, software, and hardware development.
