Description
The Progressive Companies Summer Internship Program offers a paid, full-time Electrical Engineering Intern role focused on designing electrical systems for building projects. Responsibilities include preparing design documents for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications; managing multiple projects; producing drafting and engineering documents; preparing building models and photometric lighting simulations; checking code compliance; and collaborating with project managers and technical leaders. The role requires enrollment in an EAC/ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering bachelor’s program, at least one year of undergraduate studies completed by Summer 2027, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, ElumTools, Visual Lighting Software, and Easy Power.
