Description
Amazon is hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the avionics electrical engineering team for the Satellite Avionics Bus. The role owns avionics hardware development, subsystem architecture and requirements, design reviews, component and subsystem testing, qualification, debugging, and integration through launch and on-orbit operations. The manager will hire and guide engineers through board design, prototyping, bring-up, characterization, and productization, while partnering with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, antenna and RF, propulsion, mechanical, test, integration, reliability, compliance, manufacturing, and program management. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or related engineering, at least seven years of complex PCBA and hardware development experience, and is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of 175,100 to 236,900 USD annually.
