Description

Gaylor Electric is hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership for its engineering and virtual design teams. The role oversees preconstruction and design phases for complex construction projects, leads Electrical Design Engineers and Virtual Designers, manages workload and performance, and ensures electrical designs are code-compliant, constructible, coordinated through BIM, and delivered on schedule and budget. The manager also supports client engagement, value engineering, quality, and regional production goals.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED, plus an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Revit certification.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of electrical construction or design experience, including completion of a recognized Virtual Design career development path.
Previous experience supervising or managing teams in an electrical contractor environment.
At least 10 years of relevant electrical experience.
Experience as an MEP Coordinator, Superintendent, or Electrical Supervisor.
Active Journeyman Electrician license in the applicable region.
Experience supporting large-scale Design-Build and Mission Critical projects.
