Description

Canadian Natural is hiring Electrical Engineering Students for an eight-month January 2027 work term on its Major Projects team. The student will support electrical or instrumentation and controls engineering and design for mining and oil sands projects by completing calculations and drawings, applying standards and specifications, reviewing vendor documents, and conducting site inspections and information gathering. The role is based in Calgary or at Albian/Horizon oil sands sites near Fort McMurray, requires enrollment in a bachelor's Electrical Engineering program, field and shift work including possible nights and on-call availability, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a valid Alberta Class 5 or equivalent driver's license.
