Description
Beta Engineering is hiring an Electrical Engineering Technician to support project engineers with high-voltage substation, switchyard, power-quality, transmission-line, and other production and distribution projects. The role generates and reviews one-line drawings, panel elevations, AC/DC and communication schematics, relay and equipment wiring diagrams, performs calculations, and prepares cable schedules. The position is primarily office-based but requires occasional overnight travel to active construction sites, use of a company vehicle, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. A vocational or technical certification or associate degree is the minimum requirement, while an electrical engineering technology or engineering technology bachelor’s degree is preferred.
