ABM Industries is hiring a full-time, direct-hire Electrical Field Test Technician for its Electrical Power Services team. The role involves approximately 25% regional and national travel to client sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, commission, and start up low- to high-voltage electrical power systems. The technician will conduct acceptance and maintenance testing on switchgear, relays, transformers, cables, and motor control centers; calibrate relays; use Enoserv RTS, Megger, and Omicron equipment; analyze test data; perform insulated fluid sampling; complete arc-flash and shock-hazard assessments; document field service reports; mentor junior technicians; participate in on-call emergency response; support sales with technical recommendations; and follow NETA, NFPA 70E, and ABM safety and quality standards.
