Description
The Electrical Foreman leads electricians and electrical helpers on TMS traffic-management projects, overseeing FDOT lighting, ITS, tolling, and signalization work. The role interprets electrical plans and schematics, schedules and monitors work, ensures compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, coordinates with project stakeholders, maintains records, and troubleshoots on-site issues. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid electrician license or certification, at least five years of electrical construction or maintenance experience including two years in a supervisory or foreman role, and knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical documentation.
