Description
The Electrical Superintendent supervises and trains jobsite field personnel, coordinates with general contractors, project managers, and other trades, and ensures electrical work meets safety, schedule, quality, and customer requirements. The role includes interpreting blueprints and electrical systems, managing materials and equipment, conducting inspections and testing, installing and repairing electrical distribution systems, applying the National Electrical Code, and maintaining daily and weekly project records. It requires 8–10 years of electrical experience, 2–4 years leading large construction crews, physical site work, and overtime as needed.
