Tata Steel Colours is hiring an Electrical HV Engineer in Shotton to provide specialist technical activities for high- and low-voltage distribution systems across the works. The role covers switchgear maintenance and protection testing, monitoring of HV and LV networks, preventive and corrective maintenance, standby-generator operation, earthing-network testing, fault resolution, safety procedures, and supporting apprentices and the HV Engineering Manager. Practical high-voltage experience is advantageous but training is provided, while SAP knowledge, communication, risk awareness, planning, and personnel-direction skills are required. The position offers a salary of £46,000–£52,462 plus a quarterly bonus, AAH hours, benefits, and other employee benefits.
