Description
The Electrical Inspector will oversee and inspect electrical installation work on construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, low-current systems, grounding, and other electrical systems. The role reviews installations against approved drawings and codes, monitors contractor work and materials, witnesses testing and commissioning, identifies defects, maintains inspection records, coordinates with engineers and contractors, and supports site safety, punch-list follow-up, and project handover. Applicants need a diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of electrical installations and testing, familiarity with electrical codes, and the ability to work on construction sites.
