Description
The Electrical Installation and Maintenance Technician leads and performs installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, equipment, and related materials across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role includes troubleshooting, conduit installation, switchgear and control wiring, wire pulling, underground trenching, safety compliance, documentation, and directing helpers and apprentices. It requires an accredited apprenticeship program completion or six years of on-the-job electrical experience, a journeyman license where required, and the ability to work at heights, in varied weather, and in physically demanding construction environments.
