The IEC Apprenticeship Technical Instructor delivers the IEC Apprenticeship curriculum to students in the Atlanta & Georgia Chapter Apprenticeship Training Program, using lectures, hands-on exercises, presentations, and other instructional methods. The role also provides technical support and supervision, develops lesson plans, manages classroom discipline, maintains attendance and grade records, enforces electrical safety procedures, and supports students outside class. It is a part-time position scheduled for two days per week from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Georgia Electrical Contractors License and five years of electrical-systems experience preferred or required depending on the stated qualifications.
