Description
FST Technical Services is hiring an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Inspector for semiconductor and life sciences facility construction in Taylor, Texas. The role inspects PLC panels, control cabinets, and field devices; verifies installations against drawings and specifications; performs loop checks and I/O verification; tracks deficiencies; supports testing and commissioning; maintains inspection documentation; and coordinates with contractors and engineering teams. Candidates need at least five years of instrumentation, controls, or electrical systems experience, knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and NEC standards, and the ability to read P&IDs and schematics. A Journeyman Electrician license, semiconductor or high-tech construction experience, and QA/QC or commissioning experience are preferred. The position requires PPE, physical activity, extended hours, confined-space work, and work at heights, with no relocation or travel per diem and no visa sponsorship.
