Description
IREN is hiring a full-time Electrical Lead for its on-site US Operations team in Sweetwater, Texas. The role owns electrical system performance, availability, risk management, safety, maintenance, outage coordination, utility and vendor relationships, and compliance across utility interconnection, substations, distribution, and compute and cooling loads. The Electrical Lead provides technical guidance to the Electrical Maintenance Lead, oversees electrical teams, supports commissioning and infrastructure turnover, and escalates complex electrical issues. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Journeyman or Master Electrician License, at least 10 years of electrical experience including 4 years in leadership or senior technical authority, NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 certifications, and the ability to work a rotational schedule including day and night shifts and weekends. Compensation is $55.00 USD per hour, with a 15% night-shift premium, overtime, and applicable allowances.
