Georgia-Pacific is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its Hummingbird Digital Printing Solutions facility in West Chester, Ohio. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment; performing scheduled preventative maintenance; responding to unscheduled floor calls; and inspecting, repairing, or analyzing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control-system components. The position pays starting at $34.50 per hour, includes a shift differential, performance bonuses, vacation, health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits, and requires industrial electrical knowledge, motor and frequency-drive troubleshooting, schematic reading, and experience with bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. The second shift is currently being hired, with employees expected to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.
