Description

Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Facility Engineer to operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment in data centers supporting Amazon Web Services. The role includes troubleshooting facility and rack-level events, performing root-cause analysis, taking operational readings, following safety procedures, using the internal CMMS, and working rotating shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of electrical or mechanical experience are required; experience with critical facilities, HVAC and control systems, electrical theory, and a journeyman license are preferred.
