Description
Egis is hiring a Principal Electrical Power Engineer based in Montreal, Quebec, to design, coordinate, validate, and support the construction and commissioning of high-, medium-, low-, and direct-current traction power systems for rail transportation infrastructure. The role covers traction substations, power flow and short-circuit analysis, rectifiers, switchgear, distribution networks, grounding, protection, SCADA and other system interfaces, supplier bid validation, and technical documentation. Candidates need a university degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field, at least 10 years of electrical engineering experience, at least 5 years in the rail sector, and significant traction power systems experience.
