IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer in Chicago, Illinois. The role leads the analysis and design of building electrical systems on low- to moderate-complexity projects and supports larger projects, while coordinating with clients, engineers, architects, consultants, and project managers. Responsibilities include producing designs, specifications, calculations, budgeting and planning, quality control, construction administration, risk identification, mentoring, and client communication. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, a Professional Engineer license, at least five years of building design consulting experience, and proficiency with electrical engineering, lighting, power-system, energy-compliance, BIM, Revit, and office software tools. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
