Description
The Electrical Protection Engineer will plan, parameterize, commission, inspect, maintain, and analyze protection systems for high- and medium-voltage electrical distribution grids, primarily using Siemens SIPROTEC devices. The role develops protection concepts, calculates setting values, supports project execution and commissioning schedules, and provides technical support to customers and grid operators. It requires electrical engineering training, switchgear and protection-system commissioning experience, SIPROTEC knowledge, German and English skills, willingness to travel approximately 50% within Austria, and a valid class B driver’s license. The position offers flexible working hours, home-office support, and a gross monthly salary of at least EUR 3,500.
