Description
The Electrical Resident Engineer reports to the Engineering Electrical Lead and supports electrical, instrumentation, and control engineering activities for Macassa mining projects. The role follows engineering work through construction, supports procurement, project transitions, commissioning, start-up, inspections, schedules, budgets, and contractor follow-up, while collaborating with project departments. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent college diploma with engineering experience, 2–4 years of mining-industry experience, project-development knowledge, change-management ability, and Microsoft Office proficiency. The schedule is four working days followed by three rest days, with a combination of presence at the CSDRN project team home office and the Macassa Mine site.
