Description
The RF Engineer IV independently designs, analyzes, tests, and troubleshoots RF and microwave systems for Diamond’s rotary joints, slip rings, and electromechanical assemblies. The role leads complex RF design projects, develops antenna and RF-circuit architectures, performs RF measurements and simulations, supports qualification testing, investigates failures, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with an RF or microwave concentration, 4–7 years of RF engineering experience, proficiency with RF test equipment and simulation tools, and familiarity with RF packaging and electromechanical interfaces.
