Description
SpaceX is hiring an Electrical Safety Engineer to own electrical safety controls and programs for its large-scale AI infrastructure and supercomputing facilities in the Memphis area. The role covers NFPA 70E electrical safety, lockout/tagout, arc-flash analysis, worker qualification and training, energized-work review, grounding and power quality, generator and UPS failover, risk assessments, incident investigations, and coordination with contractors and vendors. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering field and at least three years of experience in electrical power systems, electrical safety, or critical-facility operations. The position is not remote or hybrid, requires relocation to the Memphis area, and may involve travel and extended hours.
