The position leads preliminary and detailed design of high-voltage and medium-voltage substations for utilities and industrial clients, including electrical calculations, equipment sizing, cable routing, auxiliary systems, procurement specifications, cost estimates, site surveys, and commissioning support. The role requires at least six years of electrical layout experience, preferably with large Canadian utilities, an electrical engineering degree, EGBC registration or the ability to register, knowledge of Canadian electrical and utility standards, and the ability to manage and mentor junior engineers.
