Amazon is hiring an Electrical System Development Engineer to develop electrical systems for robotics, automation, and material handling. The role owns workstreams from requirements and architecture through detailed design, integration, verification, commissioning, and fleet deployment, including power distribution, controls, industrial networks, functional safety, schematics, power analysis, simulation, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering automation. The position requires an electrical or computer engineering degree, programming experience, at least three years of complex-systems experience, and the ability to travel up to 25%. It is based in Bellevue or Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $129,200 to $174,800 annually.
