Description
Rolls-Royce is hiring a full-time Electrical Systems Engineer to work on a technology development and demonstrator programme for a more-electric power and propulsion platform, with applications ranging from a few kilowatts to several megawatts and voltages up to approximately 1 kV. The role covers electrical system architecture, requirements and specifications, modelling, simulation, prototype and full-scale demonstrator development, and technology strategy, while also coordinating research activities and leading technical direction. Candidates need a UK minimum BEng degree or equivalent, aerospace electrical systems experience, power-systems development experience, and UK nationality; a security check is required, and Rolls-Royce will support the application for security clearance.
